Youtuber Challenge: Day 11

We are back! As there is so much stress at school, our posts have been a bit delayed. We will try our best to put up a blogpost every other day, please will you guys support us and follow our blog! Also, please let us know if you have any blogpost ideas we could do during our exams. 

We split today's challenge into boy and girl. All the youtubers we watch, we would love to meet because we enjoy their videos so much, therefore this was quite a hard challenge!

YouTuber Challenge: Day 10

Today's challenge was actually one neither of us could answer. We both live in the UK, which has a lot less YouTubers than America. Most of the well-known British YouTubers are friends with each other and are centered around London. This could mean that they have meetings there, or that they live there. As a result the majority of the meet-ups are based in London, so neither of us can go as we live 4-5 hours away from London! Therefore, we decided to change todays challenge as it was - 'Youtuber you've met'.

Youtuber Challenge: Day 9

Have to admit most people we watch on YouTube, have done collaborations with each other. However, the most recent playlist live, introduced us to many new Youtubers we fell in love with. As a result we watch a wider range of people on YouTube now, none the less most people have still made collaboration videos!

Day 9: pair you wish would collaborate

Beth's favourite:

Anthony Padilla and Dan Howell

'danisnotonfire' (left) is a british YouTuber and 'AnthonyPadilla' (right) is an american YouTuber. They were recently both at playlist live, and that's where we really got to know Anthony. They haven't filmed together before, but I would loved it if they made a collaboration video!

Ananya's favourite:

Ingrid Nilsen and Zoe Sugg

(as they have only met once, and have never collabed there are literally no picture of them together!)

Ingrid known as 'missglamorazzi' (centre) is an American YouTuber, and Zoe known as 'zoella280390' (right) is a British YouTuber. They met for the first time at playlist live this year. They have very similar personalities, and are very bubbly and cute. However they didn't become really good friends, probably because of the many people there, so they didn't film a video together. I hope they do one day though!

Youtuber Challenge: Day 8

We have to admit, we didn't particularly like this question, as they seem to be slightly repetitive, therefore, we didn't choose a video which we have already mentioned. Anyway, we hope you guys are not getting bored, please bare with us, we hopefully will have a couple of beauty blog posts up before exams, but they will be daily as soon as we finish in June!

Day 8: Favourite Collaboration?

Recently they have done two collaboration, one of each of their channel, and they were completely hilarious, that is why they are my favourite. They have done a collaboration called the Smoothie Challenge and another one called the Evil Japanese Game, which are both hilarious. 

Ananya's:

Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) and Joey Graceffa

They have only ever done two collaborations together, but they are just hilarious! They have done and askjoey video and a would you rather video, even though these seem pretty normal, those two together, just make me giggle.

Youtuber Challenge: Day 7

Everyone has different ways they are introduced to YouTube, the most common is through friend recommendation. Depending on how long you have been watching YouTube videos regularly, the people you use to watch may not do videos anymore, or they may be a massive icon on YouTube! This was quite an exciting challenge question, as it made us think about how all this began..

Day 7: The first YouTuber you ever watched

Beth's YouTuber:

Phil Lester - 'AmazingPhil'

Phil started YouTube a few years ago. In January 2011 I was recommended by a friend to watch his videos. Immediately I fell in love, and I still watch his videos to this day.

Ananya's YouTuber:

'MissVanityVixen'

I remember so well how I started watching YouTuber videos. Sadly this YouTuber does not do videos anymore (once in a blue moon she may post one) but, she was the first person I watched and who made me fall in love with the YouTube community. I have been watching video's for slightly longer, after watching the Disney Channel Movie 'Princess Protection Programme' I remember falling in love with Demi Lovato's hairstlye (a french bun). Few months later probably late 2009, after many failed attempts, I started googling how to create a 'french bun'. Even though 'MissVanityVixen' didn't have a video up teaching you how to create this hairstyle, her YouTube channel came up, and from then on I just fell in love. (Aha, sorry that was slightly long)

Youtuber Challenge: Day 6

There are not many male YouTuber's on YouTube, so there are not many people to choose from. The YouTube 'community' is full of girls, so there a few bromances to choose from. Anyway, coincidentally we both chose two different sets of people, even though there was little choice. 

Day Six: Favourite Bromance

Beth's Pick:

'Malfie'

'Malfie' otherwise known as MarcusButlerTV and PointlessBlog on YouTube. They are bestfriends, who found eachother on YouTube. Currently slightly separated, Alfie lives with someone else in London and Marcus separately. However they are so cute together, and that is why I love their bromance so much.

Ananya's Pick:

'Calfie'

'Calfie' is better known as Casper Lee and PointlessBlog on YouTube. They are recent flatmates, and are so adorable together. They end up doing a lot together as they have the same job (YouTube), and therefore have bonded and become so cute now. That is why I love them together so much!

Youtuber Challenge: Day 5

I hope you guys are not getting bored, once again we apologize  because of the current situation, we are not about to make the creative beauty posts, we hope to make in the future. Anyway, the main way to connect with your audience on YouTube is through humour and being your true self, so that is why it was hard to decide for us, however the people we chose were people that make us laugh in nearly every video!

Youtuber Challenge: Day 4

When it came to today's challenge we both knew our answer instantly, we do have the same answer, but we just love these two people! We have to admit we both are slightly YouTube obsessed, but oh well that's why we wanted to start our blog and channel!

Day Four: Couple you ship/would ship

ZALFIE!

Zoella280390 and PointlessBlog are recent best friends, and we love their friendship. They have obvious chemistry, which we conclude to mean they would make a great couple. A lot of people we watch on YouTube, are already in a committed relationship, so that's why we both ended up choosing the same people.

Youtuber Challenge: Day 3

Today's challenge is quite difficult to answer, put together we have probably both watch over 1000 YouTube videos by all the people. 

Day Three: Favourite video?

We decided to break up the question by saying one beauty video and one non-beauty video. Our favourite video's are not necessarily, video's from our favourite YouTuber's as these individual video's just made a impression on us.

Youtuber Challenge: Day 2

Both of us having been watching YouTuber's, for quite a while now and we watch many people's  videos regularly. When it came the this challenge we thought it would be fun to do, even to see what we actually think. But I have to admit this was quite a hard decision, we enjoy many beauty video's on YouTube, that is why even answering day one was hard. Anyway we finally chose one beauty guru each for Day Two.

Beth's Pick:

Tanya Burr

Tanya Burr is a 23 year old makeup artist, who makes beauty videos on YouTube. Tanya is a very experienced makeup artist and has worked for Clinique and Laura Mercier makeup counters. She gave up her day job to concentrate on being a full time YouTuber and makeup artist. She has over 700,000 subscribers on her main beauty channel, and likes to call her subscribers "burr bears". In December 2012 Tanya got engaged to Jim Chapman, and we are both sooo excited for the wedding! Tanya is my favourite female YouTuber because she is so lovely and easy to watch, and her makeup tutorials are amazing! I also love Tanya because she is very silly and has a 

good personality, which is what I think is good in a YouTuber!

Ananya's Pick:

'missglamorazzi'

Ingrid Nilsen or more commonly known as 'missglamorazzi' on YouTube is a sweet, perky and warm person. Her luscious locks, and lovely smile adds to her personality. She know's how to keep her audience interested, which has been recently proven by the fact she reached 1 million subscribers! She has a strange obsession for Panda's and is very attached to her adorable cat Nugget. She also has a massive love for donuts. She is currently the girlfriend to the singer and vlogger on YouTube called Luke Conard. Her video's are professional, but she still connects with her viewers. Even though she doesn't do many make-up videos, I really enjoy watching these videos as she looks like she is doing something she loves. The main 

focus of her channel is beauty and fashion, and by producing video's along this topic, has really helped to interest me in this area. 

Some sad news -  on 13th April 2013, Fleur and Mike DeForce lost their loved little dog, Woof. Fleur is one of our favourite YouTubers and Mike is her fiancée. We send them both lots of love at this hard time and hope they stay strong. R.I.P WoofDeForce <3

Youtuber Challenge: Day 1

We know that we are yet to post a beauty related blog post, on our blog. However similar to our youtube channel we cannot post in-depth blogposts until we finish our exams in June. That is why we thought for the next fifteen days of doing the Youtuber Challenge, so you guys can still get to know us before we officially start out Youtube channel in June. 

Question 1:  Favourite Boy Youtuber?

Beth's Pick:

'danisnotonfire'

'danisnotonfire', otherwise known as Dan Howell, is a 21 year old male British YouTuber. His videos are about the failure he calls his life, told in a comedic manner. He has a strange obsession with Llamas and placentas. Dan also has a thing for Maltesers and Delia Smith. He is known on the Internet as the Internet Cult Leader, the Phandom's tall, sassy, square-haired, Mexican lesbian king, and the elected Sugarscape Hottest Lad of 2012. danisnotonfire is my favourite male YouTuber as he loves to interact with his fans, he does this by holding regular YouNow sessions on Tuesday nights, and by meeting fans on the rare occasion he leaves his house. Dan also has a good sense of humour which is good in any youtuber, which makes their videos more easy to watch and relaxed. Dan is also, very, very attractive.

Ananya's Pick:

'Jacksgap'

Jack is a 19 year old Youtuber, who is commonly known using the name 'Jacksgap'. His videos range between vlogs and comedy sketches, but is well known for travelling around with his penny boards. He claims to be a Internet Kid, Filmmaker, and Travel Obsessive. He has now started to do videos with his twin brother Finn, who he claims is fake. JAcks has a weird thing for Maoams. 'Jacksgap' are my favourite male YouTuber's because they are so laid back, funny and share my love for travel. Also an added bonus, is that you have admit that Jack and Finn are attractive to look at.
