"She's so . . . Jetset!" Benefit Make-Up Kit

I(Beth), have owned the Benefit "She's so. . . Jetset!" Make-Up kit since December 2012, and I thought it was about time I reviewed it!

I had very high expectations of this kit when I first saw it as Benefit is one of my favourite make-up brands, and also the box is nice, compact and not over the top!

When I opened the box I was very pleased as the make-up was all neutral and easy to wear for all skin tones!

The first product in the make up kit was "The POREfessional". I was very pleased with this product as it helped make-up stay on for much much longer and minimised the appearance of pores very quickly! This was the first time I had ever tried this product, and I soon went out and purchased the full size bottle of this product!

The next product was a small eye-shadow palette. The colours are all neutrals and easy to wear, they would also be great for a simple look on holidays as the shimmer in them would look amazing in the sun! The colours in the palette are(From light to dark):
•Champagne please!
•Gold Card
•Pretty in mink
•Elegant espresso
I really love these colours, and my favourite combination is "champagne please!" Over the eyelid with "pretty in mink" worked into the crease. I have swatched the products below. Unfortunately, the eye-shadows cannot be purchased individually but similar colours to these can be found in the Benefit eye shadow range.

The third product was the blush duo:

In the make-up kit, the blush is called "First-Class face powder" so I do not think these products can be bought individually. The lighter shade of blush is very similar to the "Dandelion" blush from Benefit, and the darker colour is similar to "Dallas". Using the brush, sweeping this over the apples of your cheeks gives a lovely highlighting and natural glow!

The "Life on the A list" lipgloss was one of my favourite products in the kit. It gives a pretty subtle pink lip, which really compliments the blush. I would really recommend this lip gloss as it is of a good consistency and is not at all sticky or gloopy! I have also bought the full size version of this product as I loved it so much!

The final product in the kit was the "They're real!" Mascara. This mascara is highly rated by many beauty bloggers and vloggers, and by other people who have purchased this product. It gives your lashes full volume without them sticking together and is free of lumps! The brush also helps lengthen and separate the lashes! As you can see from the state of the bottle, I have really enjoyed this product and it has been used well! I have recently bought two tubes of this as I loved it so much!

Finally, the kit came with a leaflet full of "Tips and Tricks". This was very useful using these eyeshadow shades for the first time, and gives great tips on how to get full use of each of the products!

Overall, I have really enjoyed this Make-Up Kit and I am sure I will continue to use it until it's all gone! I would really recommend this as it is good for all skin tones, and the small sized products and compact box are brilliant for travelling!
The price of this product was £29.50/$36.00

The image quality is not brilliant, iPhone 5 camera used with 8 mega pixels, sorry!

April Glossybox

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of blogposts, but it is next to impossible to get anything up during exam time! We can't make any promises but we will try our best to get at least a post a week up until our exams finish. Today we thought we would do a different blog post, as we were getting a bit bored of the 'Youtuber Challenge' but we will finish it someday.. Sorry it's kinda late, but I thought of doing the post anyway! Let us know in the comments below, if you want us to do a post about Jolie Box/Birchbox!
This month's box was limited edition, inspired by Pearl Lowe's (a English singer-songwriter turned fashion and textiles designer) love of all things vintage and floral. The box was a beautiful floral print perfect for spring, and a change from the typical boxes.

The products inside were as impressive as the box!

This is a daily sun cream with SPF 50+. The oil-free formula is ideal for all skin types, including combination and oily skin. I am yet to try this product as it does not have a proper lid, so it will dry out very quickly, also there is no sign of summer in the UK yet! As well on the back of this product it mentions that it is a free sample, which is quite disappointing. A full size of this product would 75g and would cost £18.50. It can be found from www.crawfordhealthcare.com.

The perfume is described as a 'intoxicating and magnetic fragrance', and has a floral-woody smell. The perfume is not a very common smell, it is unique and has quite a musky undertone to it. A full size is 50ml and costs £44 from www.yves-rocher.co.uk.

This is beautiful smelling body butter. Some people have compared it to the Laura Mercier body souffle's, and I have to admit it is very moisturizing! This is the mango scented one, however there is also one in Pistachio or Coconut Latte. A full size is 200ml and costs £9.95.

Essie is a well-known nail polish brand. I was so excited when I saw it in the glossybox. The red colour is very vibrant, and stands out from miles away however a little out of my comfort zone I have grown to like it. The nail polish's are very high quality, and the colour is well suited for the seasons. A full size Essie polish is £7.99 and can be found at any local drugstores, like boots or superdrug.

The final product was a Sleek blush in 'Pixie Pink' 936. The blush looks very bright, actually quite scary for people who don't where make-up very much, but don't let it fool you! It works beautifully on all skin types, but a little goes a long way! The vibrant pink is build-able however, it isn't so bright when you first put it on. It also adapts to your skin tone; on darker skin tones it looks more 'reddy' pink and on light skin tones it is more baby pink. A full size sleek blush is £4.49 and can be bought from Superdrug in the UK, sleek also have their own website where they sell their products.
